PXC celebrated a successful annual ‘Night of Ambition’ event in London recently, raising £330,000 for the Ambitious about Autism charity, focused on pledging support to its Assistive Technology initiative which aims to improve access to learning, independence and participation through technology for autistic children and young people.

Virgin Media O2 and Hubbub’s Time After Time fund has awarded £500,000 to projects which tackle electronic waste and support digital inclusion.
Eight winning projects have been selected from more than 120 entries by judges including TV presenter George Clarke, non-profit, Material Focus and digital inclusion charity, Good Things Foundation.
Grants of up to £100,000 will support initiatives that include schemes to rehome donated devices to refugees and people experiencing homelessness; provide young people with skills to repair and refurbish broken phones and laptops to help them get jobs; and a research report into addressing e-waste and supporting digital inclusion.
Dana Haidan, Chief Sustainability Officer at VMO2, said: “The winners of this year’s Time After Time fund are an amazing set of innovative and inspiring projects led by talented people across the country.”
“With Virgin Media O2 and Hubbub’s £500,000 funding, these brilliant initiatives will transform communities by providing devices, digital skills, support and training, that will enrich people’s lives, give tech a second life, and help protect the planet.”
