
Openreach has appointed Michael Jary as an independent non-executive member to its board, bringing significant experience in corporate strategy from his work holding a portfolio of board and trustee positions.
Jary co-founded OC&C Strategy Consultants in 1987 and served as Global Managing Partner, helping grow the firm to 15 offices around the world.
He is now a Senior Adviser at OC&C, working with CEOs and boards on corporate strategy.
Jary is also a Non-Executive Director of Barclays Bank UK and Chair of Kensington Mortgages, working as Chair of Itad, a data and insight company in international development.
He is Deputy Chair of The King’s Foundation, and also chairs the company behind food brand Duchy Organic.
Other prior roles include Lead Non-Executive Director of HM Government, chair of The Fairtrade Foundation, and Non-Executive Director of Nationwide Building Society.
