toob is speeding up connectivity in Aldershot, donating its ultrafast 900 Mbps broadband to the Greater Rushmoor Nepali Community (GRNC) centre and supporting digital inclusion, communication with family and friends in Nepal, and better access to online services.

Virgin Media O2 (VMO2) has joined in a new partnership with Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS) network and the Scottish Government to provide 1,200 refurbished smartphones to Citizens Advice Bureaux (CABs) across the country, as part of the company’s largest ever device donation programme to boost digital inclusion. 

A new £9.5m government fund is being launched to help tackle digital inequality across the UK, including workshops to familiarise people with tech and schemes donating devices like phones and laptops to the digitally excluded, all led by local councils and charities.
