KCOM Enterprise has been appointed to YPO’s new 1229 Framework for Connectivity and Telecommunications Services, in a move that boosts delivery of services to major public sector organisations in Yorkshire and beyond.

Ofcom expects 50% of UK households to have access to fibre by March, with this rising to 80% within the next two years.
Looking back five years only 6% had access to fibre, this had reached 42% by September 2022.
The regulator’s numbers also reveal that altnets are doubling their footprint each year and expect to reach a total 11.5m homes by the end of 2023. Investment in altnets may reach £17bn by 2025.
Lindsey Fussell, Ofcom's Group Director, Network and Communications, said: “For Ofcom, the alternative networks to Openreach provide a vital part of our strategy for better broadband. They help form the engine room of the UK’s digital infrastructure.
“Healthy, effective competition also means keeping a close eye on the biggest network firm, Openreach, to ensure it doesn’t use its market position to distort competition in the market.”
Ofcom is currently examining a new pricing plan from Openreach and is inviting views from across the industry,
