CityFibre has connected its first customers in Buckinghamshire as part of its Project Gigabit rollout across the area, made possible by over £58m in government funding.

Quickline has added 20 communities to its rollout in the last eight months, with its network now passing 10,000 homes and businesses across North Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
The new communities which can now receive Quickline’s fibre service are: Burton Upon Stather, Thealby, North and South Killingholme, East Halton, Digby, Rowston, Scopwick, Carlton, Camblesforth, Newland, Barlow, Drax and Deighton.
Julian Chalk, Head of Network Enablement and Engagement at Quickline, said: “Our fibre service is a game-changer for communities which have endured slow, inconsistent broadband for too long.”
