More than 62,000 of Scotland’s hardest to connect premises have been addressed by the Scottish Government’s Reaching 100% programme, according to a recent Newsletter.

Zzoomm’s network build in Northallerton has been taken up by one in five properties, marking a 20% penetration on a network which has been available for 19 months.
The altnet now has 30,000 contracted customers and more than 200,000 ready for service properties. Across its entire network, Zzoomm has 15% uptake.
CEO Matthew Hare said: "We are now adding 1,500 new customers each month, up from 1,100 per month in 2023.
“We are continuing to develop our products and invest in our customer service operation.”
