brsk has just connected its first customer in Rossendale, where it aims to get 18,000 premises signed up to its network.
The altnet currently has 106,000 homes and businesses on its network across the wider Lancashire region.
This follows news that the altnet now passes over half a million homes and businesses in the west Midlands and north west of England
It is currently adding 30k new homes to its network on a monthly basis across four regions.
