Hyperoptic has expanded its technology and innovation functions with four key hires to its leadership team.

Wessex Internet has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Gavin Davies as its first COO.
Davies brings leadership experience from operational roles in other technology and utility companies, most recently serving as Operations Director at Avonline.
He said: “I believe that businesses and individuals should not face a digital divide based on where they are located and am fascinated by the innovative methods developed by Wessex Internet to remove these barriers.
“I also take seriously the role we play in providing high-quality employment across multiple disciplines in a predominantly rural area.”
Hector Gibson Fleming, CEO of Wessex Internet, added: “Gavin’s extensive experience will help us scale up for recently awarded contracts, focusing on expanding our unique capabilities and improving our delivery efficiency.”
The altnet is planning a recruitment drive to meet growth across sales and customer support, network planning and operations, civil engineering, and garden works.
