CityFibre has completed the primary-build of its full fibre network in Aberdeen, now 'ready for service’ to over 105,000 homes - around 97% of the city’s homes and most businesses.

Gigaclear is celebrating a strong year of growth for 2024, with more than 130,000 connected customers on its network and 40,000 of these were connected in the last year alone – an increase in its customer base by almost 50% in just 12 months.
These figures represent a period of significant growth and a milestone for the company.
Nick Rawlings, Chief Marketing Officer at Gigaclear said: “Reaching the milestone of 130,000 customers is a huge achievement, and we have continued to invest in building our network in hard-to-reach places adding a further 100,000 properties in 2024, which now means we have over 580,000 properties Ready for Service.”
