
GoFibre threw its full weight behind the Burntisland Highland Games, which took place on 21st July, at Burntisland Links.
The altnet took on sponsorship of four events at the second-oldest highland games in the world, comprising the Women's Weight Throw, Women's Weight/Bar, Men's Weight Over Bar and the Men's Weight Distance.
GoFibre currently has 2,800 premises ready for service in Burntisland and 26,000 in the wider Fife region.
Andy Hepburn, COO at GoFibre said: “We’re not just rolling out infrastructure - we’re embedding ourselves in the communities we serve.”
GoFibre has also made donations to Burntisland First Aid, the volunteer-led service has been able to invest in new equipment and enhanced training and hosted a ‘Bites and Bytes’ event at Cafe Verde, offering locals a free breakfast roll and coffee while they learned more about the full fibre.
