The Independent Networks Cooperative Association (INCA) has appointed Paddy Paddison as its new CEO to succeed Malcolm Corbett.
Hyperoptic has appointed Liberty Global veteran Duncan Macdonald as its new CTIO.
McDonald brings 25 years of experience in the telecom industry, with the last 16 years as part of the Liberty Global group.
His most recent role was CIO at Liberty Global-owned Sunrise, in Switzerland, and at Swiss cable operator UPC Schweiz before that.
In this role, he will be responsible for ensuring Hyperoptic has the technical capability to support customer growth, evolving its digital capabilities to ensure high levels of customer experience and maximising the stability and efficiency of services.
Hyperoptic Founder and CEO, Dana Tobak (pictured), said: “We continue to grow our network, our customer base and our profile, and Duncan will play an important role in supporting that growth.”
Hyperoptic currently has 275,000 customers and more than 1.2 million homes passed. It aims to reach 500,000 customers and two million homes passed.
