ITS’ Faster Britain bus has reached its final destination, marking the end of a year-long roadshow journey to highlight the importance of gigabit-capable connectivity to UK businesses and communities.
Launched in January 2024 at ITS’ Daresbury office in Cheshire, and ending at Cheadle Sports Club in Stockport, the Faster Britain bus tour covered more than 20,000 miles and made 300 stops to facilitate meetings and training sessions.
The bus route followed ITS' nationwide full fibre network footprint which currently passes around 25% of the UK’s commercial premises, and parked up at 180 regional and industry events.
Daren Baythorpe, CEO of ITS, said: “The Faster Britain bus has succeeded in helping to foster meaningful discussions and build strong relationships that will help to drive future growth and innovation.”
