The Independent Networks Cooperative Association (INCA) has appointed Paddy Paddison as its new CEO to succeed Malcolm Corbett.
Lit Fibre has appointed ex-Openreach CEO Steve Robertson as Non-Executive Director, to leverage his four decades of leadership experience in telecoms.
During his time at Openreach, Robertson was an advocate of delivering the benefits of broadband, initiating the first large-scale fibre to the premise (FTTP) programme in the UK.
“Building a high-quality network, supported by the very latest technologies and a community-driven rollout will significantly accelerate the take-up of fibre broadband in the UK,” he said.
Tom Williams, CEO and co-founder of Lit Fibre, added: “We are on track to deploy our network to 500,000 homes by 2026.”
LitFibre is currently ready for service in 12 towns, reaching a total of 350,000 homes and businesses.
