Lothian Broadband Group has exceeded 2000 active customers across its fibre and fixed wireless broadband networks in Scotland.

This milestone comes as Lothian completes its network builds across Longniddry, Pencaitland and Gifford.

Lothian is focused on closing the digital divide in Scotland by deploying fibre across rural and semi-rural towns throughout Scotland.

Group CEO, Gavin Rodgers said: “More and more homes and businesses in towns and villages across Scotland are becoming aware of the value of ultrafast fibre broadband at a time when it is becoming more and more of a necessity for multiple users in a household or business to be able to have access to a quality internet connection concurrently.”
