Olilo has placed its first consumer FTTP orders on AllPoints Fibre Networks’ (APFN) aquila platform, in a decision reflecting a commitment to delivering high-performance broadband, and marking a significant step in its rollout of multi-gigabit connectivity across the UK.

Despite only onboarding in July, Olilo is already able to place and track orders to over 20m premises via the aquila portal, its self-service framework.

It is simultaneously preparing to access aquila via the platform’s TM-Forum standard API solution.

Nisreen Elkaloush, Chief Commercial Officer at APFN (pictured) said: "Olilo is a brilliant example of the kind of challenger brand aquila was built to support, and their focus on technical excellence and transparency aligns perfectly with our platform’s capabilities."

Liam Mulryan, CEO at Olilio added: “Tech experts have been ignored for too long by the fibre industry. We have built Olilo with their needs in mind, but the real win is for everyone.

“With aquila we can scale this great experience to every customer while the APFN team keep our connections to different network partners seamless in the background.”

aquila is APFN’s wholesale fibre platform, designed to simplify access to full fibre broadband by integrating multiple infrastructure providers — including Openreach, BT Wholesale, CityFibre and APFN’s own network — into a single, harmonised and automated experience.

Olilo’s launch on aquila is part of a growing wave of partners joining aquila, which now offers connectivity to over 20m premises nationwide.
