GoFibre has awarded a three-year contract to L3 Optics to help deliver first Project Gigabit lot in Scotland, improving connectivity for residents by giving access to full fibre broadband.

Openreach is continuing to roll out faster broadband across the UK, and has connected around 8,000 residents in Barnet to its upgraded network, improving digital access to essential services.
The rollout is part of Openreach’s £15billion commercial investment in upgrading the UK’s telecommunications network.
The accommodation managed by Barnet Council’s social housing provider Barnet Homes will be included in the installation, which will also cover many other households in the borough.
Elaine Hope, Openreach’s Partnership Director for London, said: “Working together with Barnet Council is a crucial step in making sure that residents across the borough have great access to the broadband, and the support from the council has been instrumental in making this happen.”
