
Brillband has successfully placed its first orders on AllPoints Fibre Network’s (APFN) aquila platform, in a move towards fulfilling its mission to deliver improved connectivity across the UK to a wider market.
The Glasgow-based firm will continue to operate as an independent brand within the APFN Group, and with aquila, the company can expand further beyond its roots.
The aquila platform, developed by APFN, integrates multiple infrastructure providers including Openreach, BT Wholesale, CityFibre and APFN’s own networks.
It offers an expanding footprint currently addressing around 19 million premises, enabling retail providers like Brillband to expand their addressable market permitting them to scale to serve customers nationwide.
