Around a quarter of a million households in Greater Manchester could benefit from a wayleave agreement struck between the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, social housing providers and broadband providers.

Pulse Fibre has partnered with south west homebuilder Cavanna Homes to deliver full fibre infrastructure to its new homes at Warmwell Rise in Dorset, a community of 140 two-to-four-bedroom homes.
The technology will power SMART home features such as video doorbells, security systems, heating and lighting systems, as well as voice-controlled speakers and gaming systems.
Providing connections during construction means that services will be available when residents move in.
Construction is due to begin in the autumn of 2024, with the first homes ready for new homeowners in the summer of 2025.
