PXC expands reach with Trooli network

PXC is to partner with Trooli to offer more reliable full-fibre broadband to rural areas of the UK, in a move that strengthens PXC’s market position and expands its network.

The partnership will also allow Trooli to join PXC’s altnet community, giving FTTP access to more than 410,000 homes and businesses across its infrastructure.

Currently, Trooli’s network footprint predominantly supplies underserved rural and semi-rural regions of England including the south west, south east and east anglia and three counties in Scotland.

The new partnership, which aims to launch in Q2 this year subject to contact, will allow PXC to offer more competitive full fibre supply into these areas, complementing its existing network and challenging market incumbents.

It is also a milestone for Trooli, presenting substantial opportunities to attract more providers to its network - a range of strategic partners will have access to the Trooli footprint, delivering business growth.

Andy Conibere, CEO at Trooli, commented: “This partnership is an opportunity for us, and we are dedicated to building our network in areas of the UK that will benefit from it the most.

“By partnering with a wholesale provider of PXC’s scale, we can provide digital access and greater choice for more communities that would otherwise be left behind.”

James Smith, CEO at PXC added: “Trooli plays a vital part in our altnet aggregation strategy, and with its focus on the rural areas of the south east and elsewhere, it will enable us to offer reliable fibre broadband to even more of the UK.”
