A new 10-year strategy that “sits at the heart of plans to renew the UK” has been published by the government and will include proposals that are backed by £725bn in long-term funding for maintenance and major projects, which promises to “transform how infrastructure projects are planned and delivered”.

Rural Broadband Solutions (RBBS) has received a control investment of £75m from Tiger Infrastructure to boost its rural rollout in Shropshire and Wales.
Working via its ISP brand SWS Broadband, RBBS aims to create a fibre network covering around 100,000 small towns that sit entirely in Ofcom’s Area three.
Christopher New, CEO of RBBS, said: "We believe Tiger Infrastructure is a like-minded investor whose expertise and capital will assist us in making RBBS a leader in our niche.”
Keith Harris, Executive Chairman of RBBS, added: “Together, we are well-positioned to assist communities in Shropshire and Wales to solve their immediate and growing requirement for connectivity.”
