Over 98% of Gloucestershire homes and businesses can now access a superfast broadband connection, through one of the first types of UK projects of its kind that started in 2012 to increase superfast coverage in the county.

Virgin Media O2's latest gigabit switch-on has connected a further 1.7 million homes to its network, taking the company's total to ten million.
The latest switch-on connects homes across Blackpool, Cambridge, Leicester, Nottingham, Oxford and Swindon, with two thirds of Virgin Media O2's footprint now able to access hyperfast speeds.
CEO Lutz Shüler said: "We are committed to connecting our entire network to these speeds by the end of the year and will invest at least £10bn over the next five years in the UK."
