Quickline has officially opened a new facility in Leeds to support the rapid rollout of fast broadband across rural Yorkshire and help create and inspire the region's future digital workforce.

Fibrus is offering career opportunities to Cumbrian graduates as it rolls out full fibre broadband in the region, as part of a year-long programme that gives comprehensive training, a dedicated mentor and valuable hands-on experience.

Alncom has helped to create a training programme for local Northumberland students to learn some of the skills required to deploy fibre broadband, alongside gaining an understanding of how the internet gets into their homes.

Quickline has taken a significant step in its commitment to nurturing regional talent by welcoming its first cohort of telecoms apprentices, reflecting the company’s dedication to delivering social value as part of its four government-awarded Project Gigabit contracts.
