A team of volunteers from Openreach has completed a Three Peaks Challenge in Wales, raising £1000 in support of the Wales Air Ambulance.

More than 30 Openreach engineers conquered the three highest peaks in Wales, Yr Wyddfa, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan.

Groups of engineers started at the base of each peak at the same time to scale a combined elevation of over 3,000 meters.

Shaun White, Senior Area Manager for Wales, Openreach, said: "Wales Air Ambulance provides an invaluable service to the people of Wales.”

The money raised will enabling the charity to continue providing rapid response and emergency medical care in Wales.
