Virgin Media has made gigabit broadband available to 11,000 more homes in Chester for the first time through investment by nexfibre.

toob has connected its 50,000th customer just before celebrating its fifth anniversary. The altnet had a customer base of 10,000 customers in October 2022.
Its early network deployed in Southampton now has over 40% penetration and on the overall toob network penetration is almost 20%.
In total toob has invested in its network across five counties and 29 towns and cities across the south of the UK.
toob is also growing its customers on the CityFibre network through a strategic partnership between the two companies.
