Openreach has published the list of 137 exchange locations in its FTTP Priority Exchange Stop Sell programme, covering 854,000 UK premises and will give a year’s notice to communication providers ending traditional copper-based phone and broadband services and encourage full fibre upgrading.

Openreach is continuing to rollout full fibre across the UK, and more than 315,000 homes and businesses in Leeds can now access faster internet, with over 80% of properties connected to the network.
Across west Yorkshire, 820,000 homes and businesses are now able to upgrade thanks to Openreach’s substantial investment and network build.
The network now reaches more than 18m properties, and the company plans to extend this to 25m homes and businesses by the end of 2026.
Kasam Hussain, Openreach’s Regional Director in Yorkshire said: “We believe that this new network will give businesses an edge and provide families and home-workers with future-proof connectivity.
“Openreach is committed to delivering a service that helps the community thrive, supports people to work from home easily, and keeps them connected to new opportunities.”
