In its Q3 2021/22 results BT announced that its full fibre footprint was at 6.5m including 2m rural premises.
The quarterly saw a record FTTP build of 662k premises at an average of over 50k per week.
FTTP take up also accelerated to 1.5m premises, driven by Openreach's wholesale pricing offer.
CEO Philip Jansen said: “We had another record-breaking quarter on our full fibre build and a pleasing 37% increase in FTTP connections following the launch of Openreach’s wholesale pricing offer.”
BT Group revenue was up from £5,238m to £5,369m.
