Burton-upon-Stather football club scores Quickline support

Quickline is supporting over 100 young footballers in a north Lincolnshire village with a cash injection of around £2,000.

Burton United Football Club, located in Burton-upon-Stather near Scunthorpe, secured the investment following a successful application to Quickline’s Community Fund.

It will use the funds to ensure the future of the club and plans to invest in pitch maintenance as well as new kit and training.

Julie Holmes, Quickline’s Social Value Manager, said: “It’s important to us at Quickline to offer support to the communities we serve and to do so in a way that is impactful to as many people as possible.

“Alongside the community fund for the club, we have also provided them with free broadband in the clubhouse and we plan to support them further throughout the season.”
