CityFibre has connected its first customers in Buckinghamshire as part of its Project Gigabit rollout across the area, made possible by over £58m in government funding.

CityFibre has now laid 1,725km of full fibre across Suffolk as part of a £53m investment into Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft.
This represents enough cable to race through the Rowley Mile circuit at the Newmarket Races more than 850 times.
Charles Kitchin, CityFibre’s Area Manager for Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft, said: “As many internet service providers are offering special deals to celebrate the new year, now is the perfect time for residents of completed areas to make the switch to full fibre-enabled broadband.”
CityFibre’s ISP partners in the region include Vodafone, TalkTalk, Air Broadband and Zen.
