nexfibre’s network reach has expanded to 1,557,000 premises ready for service and is on track to pass the two million milestone by the end of the year.
One million Londoners can now access fibre services from Community Fibre, Backed by the Mayor of London's Connected London Team.
The milestone was welcomed by Theo Blackwell, The City’s Chief Digital Officer, who said: “It is fantastic that over one million homes in London can now connect to full-fibre broadband, giving people and businesses faster, more reliable and more affordable internet access across the capital.
“The Mayor's Connected London team and Community Fibre have worked together to bridge the digital divide and improve our city’s broadband infrastructure for the future, helping to build a better, fairer and more prosperous London for all.”
