Connect Fibre has launched Wi-Fi 7 across all its contracted fibre broadband packages following extensive testing with large global manufacturers.
The company says Wi-Fi 7 offers greater flexibility and better value using wireless technology, with users benefitting from speeds of 250Mbps to a maximum of ultrafast 2000Mbsp.
Wi-Fi 7 also gives advancement in wireless technology, using improved radio technology and newly available radio frequencies to deliver clearer, interference-free connectivity.
Key benefits include faster multi-gigabit speeds for greater responsiveness, alongside lower latency: enhanced technologies reduce delays to improve applications such as online gaming, AR/VR, and video conferencing.
Other features are increased capacity, with 8x8 MU-MIMO, and improved interference management to support simultaneous connections in smart homes and high-density environments.
