AllPoints Fibre Networks (APFN) and Daisy Communications have signed a long-term strategic partnership for national full fibre services, that will allow Daisy to benefit from APFN’s aquila wholesale platform and gain access to a national full fibre only network, selling to premises through a single API-first platform.

The recent acquisition of Dyfed Telecom by technology firm Northern Telecom has helped to secure the future of the business – which was hit by a winding-up petition from HMRC in February – alongside its staff and satellite offices, in a deal that will push annual revenue to a milestone of nearly £8 million.
As previously reported on Fibre Provider, over the coming months, Northern Telecom will integrate Dyfed Telecom into the company and ensure a smooth transition for both customers and employees, adding 4,000 customers and 22 team members to its business.
The transaction marks the sixteenth acquisition for the Yorkshire-based group, which will continue to trade under the Dyfed Telecom brand within the newly formed Dyfed Telecommunications Limited.
Simon Rogers, Group Managing Director at Northern Telecom said: “Dyfed Telecom is an impressive brand, which has built a loyal customer base and a reputation across Wales and Shropshire.
“The acquisition of the Dyfed Telecom business adds to our team and opens up a new market to us, while giving customers access to a whole range of services that are being made available in Wales for the first time.”
