CityFibre has acquired Connexin’s full fibre infrastructure, establishing a material foothold across Hull and East Riding and enabling the expansion of CityFibre’s footprint by up to 185,000 premises.

M Group has acquired Telent, in a move that will expand the company’s reach into adjacent markets and enhance its ability to deliver integrated solutions across the telecom, transport, water, and energy sectors.
The partnership, subject to regulatory approval, will combine M Group’s infrastructure service offering with Telent’s technology and digital solutions.
Bringing Telent into the M Group family will also strengthen longstanding relationships with shared customers including Transport for London (TfL), National Highways, Network Rail, Virgin Media O2, BT, EE and Openreach.
Andrew Findlay, Chief Executive of M Group (pictured) said: "This is a transformative deal for M Group and we recognise the strength of Telent’s differentiated capabilities and market position.”
“This acquisition builds on our strong track record of strategic M&A and will help us to deliver value and expertise to our clients.”
Jo Gretton, Chief Executive of Telent added: "Joining M Group reinforces our position in network and technology solutions, and their extensive infrastructure expertise and scale will help accelerate our growth and continue to be a trusted partner for organisations.”
