CityFibre has connected its first customers in Buckinghamshire as part of its Project Gigabit rollout across the area, made possible by over £58m in government funding.

CityFibre will invest £25m to bring fibre within reach of almost every premise in Rochford and Rayleigh.
Construction in Rochford will begin imminently, while Rayleigh’s rollout is scheduled to get underway in spring 2023.
Area Manager, Jean Gowin said: “As our build team installs the network, it’s important to remember that any short-term disruption will pay off in the long-term.”
Danielle Belton, Portfolio Holder for Climate & Economy for Rochford District Council added: “Full fibre will massively boost the local economy by opening up innovation and productivity benefits for businesses.”
