GoFibre has donated much-needed new furniture to Burntisland First Aid as it moves to larger premises in the centre of Burntisland.
Fibrus has launched a new charity partnership with Cancer Fund for Children, which gives children diagnosed with cancer, or those living with a parent with cancer, much-needed support and respite.
Much of the work will centre around the charity’s therapeutic short break centre in Newcastle, with Fibrus employees volunteering their time to become an extension to the Cancer Fund for Children team.
Dominic Kearns, CEO at Fibrus said: “Cancer Fund for Children does incredible work to support families going through some of the most unthinkable circumstances.
This partnership will of course aim to boost fundraising for the charity, but it will be about much more than money alone. We hope we can use our own skills and resources to develop support measures for children and young people, to help them stay connected with friends and family, and to make their lives a little more comfortable during treatment.”
Alex Murdock, Corporate Fundraiser at Cancer Fund for Children followed on: “It is sure to be an exciting year ahead and together, we will work towards ensuring that no child has to face cancer alone.”
