Quickline Communications aims to allocate at least 5% of its workforce to formal apprenticeships or graduate development schemes in the next five years.
Fibrus has become one of the founding members of a brand-new jobs platform designed to support women by providing access to training programmes, peer support sessions, mentoring and CV writing assistance.
By joining the Timely Careers platform, Fibrus hopes to encourage more women into the telecoms sector and promote the career opportunities that exist within the industry.
Fibrus joins Timely for an initial two-year period as the company looks to build a more diverse colleague base and has set itself challenging gender balance targets.
Chief People Officer Linda McMillan said: "A diverse and inclusive colleague base brings benefits to a business and adds value to its bottom line.”
“If we can help give women the confidence to step back into work, or support them in a career change, that’s where we want to be.”
Vacancies at the company currently advertised on Timely include Fibre Ambassadors, Technician, Network Engineers, Event Sales Champion and Customer Service Agent.
Fibrus is on target to achieve 34% female employee representation by the end of March this year, with a longer-term aim of having a workplace that is 50% female by 2028.
