Lightning Fibre is sponsoring Forward Facing children’s charity to give families the chance to enjoy the international airshow Airbourne, by providing £500 funds for an accessible viewing platform and dedicated area for those who might otherwise miss out.
Forward Facing helps families in Sussex whose children live with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, profound disabilities, or have experienced bereavement, and provide memory-making experiences and ongoing emotional support to those families.
The dedicated viewing area will give families and children a safe and comfortable spot to enjoy the airshow from 14th to 17th August, something that would not otherwise be possible due to the large crowds and practical accessibility challenges of the beach.
Lightning Fibre is backing Candice Konig, CEO at Forward Facing, to provide this accessible viewing area with £500 of sponsorship funds.
The charity runs around 50 free and inclusive events a year, specifically designed to meet the needs of their families, alongside offering counselling, play therapy and bespoke experiences - all aimed at uplifting families, helping them feel joy, connection and support.
