CityFibre has connected its first customers in Buckinghamshire as part of its Project Gigabit rollout across the area, made possible by over £58m in government funding.

Eccles will be the next town to benefit from Freedom Fibre’s expansion across the north west and Shropshire.
Testing has begun in the town and will be proceeded by a £7m build project to pass 22,000 households and 800 businesses, starting in early 2023.
The network will cover an area from Barton City Airport up to Alder Forest and Swinton Greenway Park.
Network Director David Hough, said: “Fibre will enable Eccles to take advantage of the connected digital world and support the cultural and economic boom of the area.”
