Freedom Fibre has created an internal platform to help employees develop a wider understanding of all functions in the business.
Employees are being encouraged to host ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions to share issues they think will be important for all departments.
Lesley Segelit, HR Manager, said: “The purpose of these sessions is to provide our employees with the opportunity to provide and obtain a more in-depth cross-functional understanding of what various departments in the business do, why and how they do it, and ultimately the importance in supporting our business objectives.”
Shariff Tbealeh, Finance Systems & Business Process Manager, added: “Hosting a session allowed me to provide insight into the project management software we use and highlight some of the features that could be utilised by other departments.”
