More than 62,000 of Scotland’s hardest to connect premises have been addressed by the Scottish Government’s Reaching 100% programme, according to a recent Newsletter.
Freedom Fibre has now connected over 20,000 homes across the north west and West Midlands.
The network is live in cities and towns including Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Leek, Urmston, Northwich and Whitchurch.
The altnet’s services are available via a range of ISP partners such as LilaConnect, the retail ISP owned by Freedom Fibre Group alongside other providers such as TalkTalk, Squirrel, Fusion Fibre, MTH and Beebu.
Marie Danby, Customer Operations Director at Freedom Fibre, said: “Thanks to our hard-working team, the cooperation of communities and local leadership, we have been able to successfully deliver our high-speed network cost-effectively whilst maintaining our high level of customer service.”
