GoFibre has provided vital broadband connectivity to Midlothian locals this Christmas, ensuring that key community hubs can provide essential services over the festive period and beyond.
Freedom Fibre has unveiled new art on one of its street cabinets in Irlam, designed by students at Springwood Primary School.
The altnet first began seeking to commission artworks for its active cabinets in 2023, to strengthen ties with the local community.
It has since contacted local artists, businesses, and schools to see if there was any interest in contributing to the project.
When Springwood Primary School in Irlam reached out, select Freedom Fibre members headed down to the school’s Irlam campus to work with students on the designs that we now feature on the active cabinet.
On the 26th of April, the artwork was revealed in an event attended by Freedom Fibre CEO, Neil McArthur, Freedom Fibre’s Head of Build Assurance, Steven Warner, as well as teachers and students from Springwood Primary.
