Quickline has partnered with Leeds Community Foundation to introduce a new community-focused fund to support organisations in Leeds and Bradford that work with children, young people, and families helping develop digital skills and improve employment.

GoFibre has connected more than 500 customers in the Teeside town of Barnard Castle and is hosting a community event to deepen its local ties.
The event, taking place from 11-2pm on Thursday 12th June at TCR Hub Barnard Castle, aims to encourage residents to chat to GoFibre’s team and learn more about local build, ask any questions and sign up for the new services.
The altnet is currently delivering an ultra-fast broadband network across Teesdale as part of a Project Gigabit and has made 6,600 regional premises ready for connection.
Cameron Moir, Delivery Manager at GoFibre, who oversees the local build, said: “Everyone at GoFibre, and particularly our local team, are delighted that so many people in Barnard Castle have chosen to take advantage of our lightning-fast full fibre broadband, which makes everything from gaming to work from home, a much smoother and more reliable experience."
Earlier this year GoFibre launched the GoFurther Fund in Teesdale, with awards of up to £3,000 from a £15,000 pot for the county being announced later this summer.
