Grain is bringing faster broadband to Burton-on-Trent, in a major upgrade that will transform internet speeds for residents who will get dedicated full fibre connection.

Over 12,000 residents and businesses across Cupar, Cardenden and Burntisland can now access GoFibre’s regional network. The altnet’s Fife footprint now reaches around 16,000 homes and businesses.
Construction has also begun in Newport and Tayport, which will add 3,400 additional premises when complete.
CEO Neil Conaghan, said: “This is a significant step forward in our aim to close the digital divide across rural areas.”
Cllr Altany Craik, Spokesperson for Finance, Economy & Strategic Planning at Fife Council SSWS: “It’s good to see operators such as GoFibre deploy solutions in rural areas of Fife, that have otherwise proven difficult to get connected.”
