Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Grain is bringing faster broadband to Burton-on-Trent, in a major upgrade that will transform internet speeds for residents who will get dedicated full fibre connection.
The network rollout will give thousands of homes and businesses access to internet speeds up to 1Gb, marking a significant upgrade to the town’s digital infrastructure.
"We're offering Burton-on-Trent residents an internet service that can keep up with their digital lives,” said Richard Cameron, CEO at Grain broadband.
The service rollout will start in May, with the first customers set to be connected in late summer 2025.
Grain has already invested across the midlands, bringing full fibre to Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Leicester and Nottingham.
