Hyperoptic is launching a new mesh Wi-Fi service to boost connectivity for larger properties, heavy Wi-Fi users or busy households with lots of connected devices.
Mesh network technology extends the distance and coverage of Wi-Fi across a property, via access points that connect to the router and extends the range.
Hyperoptic has two mesh solutions, ZTE and Nokia, with both designed to work alongside Hyperoptic’s Hyperhub router.
MD ISP Charles Davies said: “We know that many homes struggle with Wi-Fi ‘black spots,’ which can cause huge frustration.
“Our new Total Wi-Fi service extends the power of our hyperfast fibre broadband throughout the whole home, so that our customers can work, play, stream or chat wirelessly, wherever they want.”
