A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
East Sussex altnet Lightning Fibre has begun launching its symmetric fibre network in Hailsham, having passed over 5,000 more homes and businesses.
“We are ahead of schedule and hope to complete the whole town of over 10,000 homes by the end of 2022,” said Ben Ferriman, Lightning Fibre’s Founder and CEO.
Hailsham Mayor, Councillor Paul Holbrook, cut the ribbon on the new primary node cabinet.
“Lightning Fibre have engaged proactively with local Councillors, looking into complaints promptly and resolving matters that inevitably arise with a project of this scale,” he said.
“I have been very impressed by Ben and his team. Lightning Fibre have engaged proactively with local Councillors, looking into complaints promptly and resolving matters that inevitably.
