A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
LilaConnect will make its network live for more than 6,900 premises across Leek, as well as Etruria, Cliffe Vale and Shelton in Stoke-on-Trent over the next few months.
Jan Lange, MD LilaConnect explained: “This is the next step in our investment into the Staffordshire area. This will enable businesses and residents to access services that are essential to thrive in today's digital age.”
“It’s a big leap forward in our progress to ensure that the whole region can benefit from connectivity that is future-proofed for the decades to come.”
The altnet is now part of the Freedom Fibre group following its merger with VXFibre.
