GoFibre has donated much-needed new furniture to Burntisland First Aid as it moves to larger premises in the centre of Burntisland.
Lit Fibre is supporting the 1st Bishop’s Stortford Scout HQ by providing a free fibre connection.
This enables the remote management of the HQ’s heating system remotely to reduce costs and to provide its members and visitors with ultrafast internet.
The Scout group is also planning to use the solution to help them deliver new badges like the Digital Citizen and Digital Maker.
“As we continue to roll out our service, we look for opportunities to give back to those we serve especially in today’s climate, enabling those struggling with poor connections to manage costs and reap the benefits of full-fibre,” said Tom Williams, CEO of Lit Fibre.
Simon Carter from 1st Bishop's Stortford and Hockerill Scout Group, added: "We help the young people in the Group take part in exciting new badges as having digital skills is essential for life in the 2020s.
“Before the fibre connection was in place, we struggled to give young people access to this part of our activity program.”
