GoFibre is hosting a community event to celebrate its second anniversary of delivering ultra-fast full fibre broadband to West Fife, marking two years since the first local customers were connected.

Over 100,000 homes are now ready for service on Lit Fibre’s network, with the altnet rolling out at a rate of 10,000 new premises passed per month. This is a significant milestone as it looks towards 500,000 UK homes by 2026.
The network is live in 15 towns with a further eight towns set to go live this year. This will bring fibre to a total of 350,000 premises.
CEO Tom Williams said: “We are rapidly expanding our network and on track to deliver against our goal of deploying a rock-solid network to 500,000 homes by 2026."
Lit Fibre is currently available in Bishop’s Stortford, Chelmsford, Chippenham, Cirencester, Clacton-on-Sea, Evesham, Harpenden, Melksham, Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Redditch, St Albans, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Sudbury and Welwyn Garden City, with installation well underway in Aldridge, Basildon, Erdington, Potters Bar, Sutton Coldfield, Warminster, Watford, Westbury.
