Fibrus is continuing to support community groups across Northern Ireland and Cumbria bridge the digital divide with the launch of the 2025 Fibrus Broadband Community Fund, which will benefit local groups and clubs.

Lit Fibre has installed free high-speed connectivity in a new community youth area associated with Boldmere St Michaels FC.
The ‘It’s Lit’ Youth Zone is designed for children to have fun in a safe space on a Saturday night, during football matches and can also be hired out for parties.
This marks the beginning of a partnership between the altnet and the football club which aims to support the community and includes sponsoring the FA Women’s National League match on Sunday, May 5th.
Sarah Morgans, Lit Fibre’s Community Manager for Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas, says: “Being able to support the younger generation with a safe space is a great start to this partnership and we’re excited to see it develop over the coming months.”
