Essex-based County Broadband has donated £10,000 worth of computers and laptops to Digital Essex to help tackle digital exclusion across the county.

Maidenhead is set for a significant economic boost from CityFibre’s £14m fibre network rollout, according to a study by the consultancy Hatch.
Potential economic impacts include £146m in productivity and innovation gains, £32m from a widened workforce, £3m in Local Authority efficiency savings and £103m in increased housing value.
The study also states that CityFibre’s network will help realise £349m in gross added value from 5G services, £55m from the Internet of Things and £62m from Smart City initiatives, like intelligent traffic management systems and street lighting.
Area Manager Neil Madle said: “Full fibre has the potential to truly transform the digital capabilities of Maidenhead.”
